Young Life is eager to provide opportunities for our teenage friends to get out and find a grand adventure and a hope that only comes with knowing the Great News of Jesus Christ. One of the greatest tools we have at our disposal is taking them to a place that is designed specifically for them to have those experiences. Let’s send them on the adventure of a lifetime at Young Life, Capernaum Weekend, or Wyld Life Camp! This summer our high schoolers from St. Joseph and Savannah will be heading on a trip to Castaway Club in Dteroit Lakes, MN. Our middle schoolers will be headed to Clearwater Cove in Branson MO. Our Capernaum friends went on a weekend trip to Clearwater Cove. Many of our friends are already signed up for camp and there are lots of kids that are very excited and still thinking about going.
As you may already know, the way that we get our friends to and from camp is by charter bus. While the charter bus is a relatively inexpensive way to travel it does substantially add to the amount of money kids need to pay to get to camp. We are doing our best to make it so that every kid who wants to go can afford the trip. Our Travel Expenses this year will total $14,192. For all of those kids who can’t afford the entire cost we would like to offer them a free bus seat.
